Choc-banana paddle pops …. get in our belly!

This recipe is a real crowd pleaser – the kids will love it, it’s naturally gluten free, and it can be modified easily for dairy free, low fodmap and vegan requirements.

Perfect to replace Magnums and Gaytimes for a summer dessert!

Ingredients (serves 8):
400ml Greek yoghurt or coconut cream
1/4 cup cacao powder
1 frozen banana
2 tbsp maple or rice malt syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ fresh banana

Method:
1. Blend all ingredients together, except the ½ banana, until smooth
2. Slice the ½ banana and press onto the insides of icy pole moulds.
3. Pour ice cream mixture into the moulds and freeze overnight.
